Welcome to the Mandala Wellbeing Program

 

The Mandala Wellbeing Trust is charitable trust set up with the aim of establishing and running a therapeutic program for those with addictions, mental health and other challenges.

The program is a new venture that is not yet operating. Mandala Wellbeing Trust is interested in hearing from individuals passionate about working in a holistic anthroposophical way that supports genuine healing of participants, society and the environment.

 

A Therapeutic Self Development Program

Mandala Wellbeng Trust staff believe that any healing is a self development process ultimately facilitated by the individual.

Core Features of the Program:

  • Particpating in organic/biodynamic farming in a natural environment, with meaningful work experiences and nourishing organic food;
  • A community as therapy approach with group support, activities and interaction in which the contributions and strengths of each individual are developed;
  • A comprehensive developmental (inc. psycho-education) approach to support individuals to overcome challenges and reach toward their potential;
  • Artistic and craft activities and therapies are utilised for their ability to engage motivation, develop cognitive, creative and communication skills, build self-esteem and facilitate psychological healing. Experiential artistic activities such as singing, colour painting, clay-work, craft and movement activities are utilised in order to balance and to add colour and vitality to the inner life of the individual;
  • Conventional and complimentary medical treatments are offered. Anthroposophical medicine has been utilised to significantly improve anxiety and depression with high patient satisfaction and reduced healthcare costs associated with this approach.

Being Well: Ōtautahi Summer Youth Gathering
